If you brave the corridor of scary homeless people leading up to Harlot, you get to stand in line for an hour while the bouncers push you around: "Stand over here, no, stand over there. We don't care that you bought a bottle, why don't you line up girls and boys over....there! No, actually let's move you to the other side of the building. And by the way we're cutting off 3/4 of the guest list we promised could get in" After standing in the freezing cold for an hour, and having various members of your party trip and fall into a huge and suspiciously puke-colored puddle, you overhear the bouncer tell his buddy that they are out of tables (i.e., they gave away the table you had reserved with them a couple days ago). Were they ever going to tell you? I just don't get it. Overall, I'm sure it's fine if you have a really small party, like, you go by yourself. And you're a girl in a mini-skirt. Otherwise save yourself the drama and try another establishment.

by Brain Q. on This review is for the patio, unfortunately I didn't eat in the restaurant itself. Poor service. Bad 1980's classic rock booming outdoors. Ahi was oversalted, wine came but was not the same as ordered. Waitress forgot about the next wine order...and ignored us for the next 40 minutes. Sorely disappointed with Michael Mina on Sunset. We didn't order $500 worth of food and wine but that shouldn't mean we deserved sub-par treatment.
