by Sunanda P. on Ok so I have a lot of reservations about this place. we'll get to that... but let's start with some of the positive aspects. The atmosphere is really secluded, dark, and lightweight vegas status with a mix of Asia nightclubs. Lots of different rooms you could go to drink, dance, smoke, whatever. They also sell danger dogs in the club! Never seen that before! And that's about it. Here's the negative sides. This places gets incredibly crowded. I don't know if they reach max capacity or what... but you could barely walk... touching sweaty people to get to the bathroom is not my cup of tea. However, expected in this circumstance. So yeah, there's a lot of sections, but too many people!! The system to get in is so unorganized and poorly constructed! They have a line all the way around the club so if you don't cut someone or do something to get you ahead you basically have to wait there for like hella days until you can get your groove on. seriously. Then when you do finally get to the front its not even a line anymore! It's just a mash of people trying to get in, pushing and shoving! People act like this club is a concert or something... SHEESH! NOT! I don't understand how they determine how many people come in and who comes in... UGH its really annoying. and the crowd they attract kinda sucks. blah. All in all, the club itself is nice, but dynamics/structure/service is poor.
by Deetta Langhorn on It's not fair to judge a club by the people you meet there or from one particularly bad experience; a club that helps your group of friends have a fun night is a club worth visiting. I've come here a couple times previously, and went again for the 2009 New Year's party. The venue is really nice: it's big with an indoor and outdoor area like most LA clubs, it has multiple floors and rooms, and a ton of bars. It's in a great location for visitors since you can tour the Chinese and Kodak theatre before or after the club. I'm not much of a dancer, but the music is always good enough. The drinks aren't cheap, but it's not overly expensive either (shots ran $8-$10). The club was about 60% Asian, but it was a good mix of people. If you've never been, it's definitely worth giving it a shot (make sure you get on the guest list online to get a discount on cover).
by Rachel G. on Why can't I get a goddamn lesbian to look at me in this place? Seriously, there are 3 very lesbianic ladies behind the bar (don't get all "Oh, Rachel. How did you know they were lesbians?!? You wanna know how I know? I know because they looked liked Dudes.) and I couldn't get one of them to pour me my Ketel Soda, let alone glance at my tits. I had to send my friend with multi-colored hair, tattoos and ballet flats to do the job. They were on her like lesbians to an Indigo Girls concert. Is it the blonde? Is it the heels? Is it the makeup? Does that not scream "I like Vagina in my face"? Cause if it doesn't, I am doing something wrong. I got so flustered that I kicked over a table and broke about 25 glasses. Actually I didn't do that because I was so flustered. I did that because I like to get drunk and break things. Sorry, ladies. I was there for the dogs (Hi Laura B.). Next time I'll come for the vagina. I swear.
