My first real "Dance Club" in NYC, (I don't think Mercury Bar or Tonic can be considered a D Club), and lets just say i was more than just blown away! Very classy, awesome House music, and a not so crowded interior allowed for some pretty good dancing. Was entertaining some out of town'ers from Vancouver, BC, and they loved it. Very Expensive though, after all the speakeasy's and low lying bars I've been haunting after coming to the city. My advice, tank up a bit before you get to this place. I need my alcohol to enjoy n dance to House, (I'd think everyone does), and unless its the weekend you received your Stimulus or Tax returns, I'd suggest hitting some $$ bar before getting here. Chris, my buddy, told be that its on Lonely planet, and hence there was this above normal EU traffic:-D

Wow, these guys are beautiful. Just absolutely stunning. We came here to hang out in the Nightclub/Bar that's in the basement for a friends b'day. We got there and the bouncer was really nice and friendly (...he's from Texas, w00t!) -But my drink (which has a name that is rather inappropriate) was way too expensive. Quite Yummy, but expensive. We had a great time though (awesome music), but make sure you bring alot of cash cause you'll need it!

Update: I decided to celebrate my party @ Temple past Friday Started getting calls from friends at 10 PM that the line was long. I started to panic since we're on the other side of the city. And I have 13 people with me. Mr & I went home first after dinner, drop off the car & took the cab to go to Temple, pop some chaser pills too just in case my friends tried to eff me up again. Got in @ 10: 45, all I can say was OMG!!!! What the heck, my fellow ASIANS spilling out on the streets, 4 blocks long about 600 of them outside. I knew it will be another chaotic night. Got my friends assembled in one place, mind you were # 600+ "Babe, stay here with friends., I'll try to see if we can pass this line".  Armed with my wonderful iphone, started to call my hook-ups at the club.  About 10 mins. later I got a hold of my good friend S, was told to meet him at the front of  the club. Walked back 3 blocks where my friends are and signalled them to meet me in front. Reaction: Friends were happy to be out of there and the rest of the people in line - ENVY! lol I'm so happy we made it by midnight. Located our table and started to down some goose. Our waitress was great and pretty too. It was so packed that night that you can't really enjoy the decor at Temple. The only bathroom they have to this big place is at the basement. In speaking of the basement, it was so dark that you can't really see the person in front of you. Also the basement bar was flooded. =( The only drama I had was I almost got into a fight with this cheap ass guy. I caught him drinking my bottle, I didnt pay $400 just be taken advantage of. I found out from friends that they thought it's one of my friends so the whole night  they let him. Grrr,  one thing I can't stand cheap ass bastard. Grow up and get a job! Anywo, we still had a great time. ************************************************** ************************** Running late, got to Temple @ 10 PM -attended the 2006 Gen Art event last Saturday. Temple is huge - can't wait to go back there to party some more. Mixed good size crowd, played house & hip hop. The newly redesign Temple by far is the biggest club I've been to. Main room is big called the Prana Lounge - lots of comfy chairs, saw Aerial Contortionist in Silks - David Garcia, and Aerial Trapeze Artist - Audrey Rosales. Also in the main room there's a stair that led to another lounge area over looking the Prana Lounge...lot's of leather couches - just need more AC power coz it's darn hot. Another room that looks like a salon w/ a bar where Bliss luxury spa was station. It was a pretty room. Basement is the place to be that nite & it's called the Catacomb Lounge - AC were awesome I think I saw 3 bars -  to some of you alkies out there....had a chance to go to the screening room - again lots of comfy chairs & saw Jason Cole Mager, "Bad Hare Day" film & another part of the basement - had a chance to check out Live Digital painting by Mateo M. & also the Circus Center Contortionist. Had a great time @ Temple ^_^
