I don't like this place.  The Busby's in Santa Monica is much less pretentious and much more fun. I came here a few times for some friends' birthday parties.  I arrived with a guy friend and the bouncer wouldn't let us in as guys unless we paid.  We ended up waiting a few minutes for some female friends of ours to arrive so we wouldn't have to pay.  I'm sorry, I'm sure plenty of places charge single guys to enter, but this place really isn't cool enough to charge me $15 or $20 just to get in, and then overcharge me for drinks.  I can have a much better time elsewhere. Anyway, it's a cool interior, actually, with several different rooms to hang out in including a huge dance area and a gaming area.  But it's an expensive place and it always feels too big.  It feels kinda like an adult amusement park rather than a bar.  Maybe that's what you pay admission for but it's not worth it. I'd come here again if a friend was having a party but it's not a place I'm dying to return to.
