A great place to hang out. I spent many a pleasant nite there while working in Marana. Interesting people, dancing, reasonable drinks, personable host (Eddie), and barmaids. Special barbecue nites on the rear patio. Eddie, did Linda from Laughlin ever come back? Rgrds.

I'm giving it three for the DJ but other than that I was not impressed. Yes, the music was great as expected from all the Buddha Bars but this place was a freaking meat market. But hey, if you're into the single scene perhaps this is the place to be. For us, not so much. I doubt we'll return. Then again we had just come from Buddakan which was very cool and chill... we shoulda stayed there.

How do you get grown adults to wear crowns made out of paper and cheer for a duel that they know is fake and the 'knights' are probably either wannabe professional jousters or aspiring actors? Take them to Medieval Times! Wait, sorry. I mean, Meeddiiieevaal Timesss! (echo, echo, echo.) Oh yeah, and give them a giant piece of chicken to sink their teeth into but no forks. You'd be smart to give them a beer, too. Yes, it's cheesy. And if you take a date, it'll run you just under $100. But you know this before stepping into the 'castle.' My advice? Embrace it. Cheer like it's the 11th century, your knight's life really does depend on his win and slurp your soup out of its bowl so loudly you get stares from the next row over. If you cheer loud enough, you may even be the one bestowed with your knight's rose. Aww.

Ahh, such a classic must-stop place for anyone visiting Atlanta. I grew up going to this place too, over all the years I've been traveling down to Atlanta, and to Georgia, to visit relatives on my dad's side. Weird to think the last time I was here was around winter 2004. Anyway, my rambling and reminiscing(sp?) aside, I'll obviously skip the part of talking about how healthy/unhealthy the food is, since everyone else covered that enough. The Orange Freezes are so amazing, that I wish there was some way that one could ship a frozen one all the way to Chicago so I could have one right now. And of course, much of the other food on their menu is sinfully good, too. Oooooh yeah. :) Three other good points in favor of this place: It's right by the nice Georgia Tech campus on the other side of the expressway, the rooms have TVs for customers to watch(the schooldesk-type seating they have in the rooms w/the TVs is cool), and finally, it's right off MARTA. And yea, I'm aware some Atlantans are wary of riding MARTA, but I can tolerate it. Reason I can is b/c I grew up riding the CTA, a system that's just as iffy as MARTA can be, IMHO.
