Buddy o' mine had us on the guest list but we STILL weren't able to get in without paying. For some reason, the line didn't move as fast as we'd hoped and by 10:30, the cover kicked in. That was weak. That and the cash only bar with its ever-changing drink prices. Everything else about the club is everything you'd hope for in a night totally devoted to hip hop and old school rap. Distortion 2 Static reporters/employees walked around, takin' in the scene with their cameras and sporting their cool-ass tees (looking to order one myself). The mix of new and old school kept the crowd going and throwin' its hands in the air and with the video backdrop that included videos from Tribe, Digital Underground and even a bit of Rakim, it added a nice touch of nostalgia. Hip hop may be dormant, but you can always come here and enjoy the classics.

Great place to watch a football or baseball (Red Sox) game. Lots of Sox fans there for Game 1, it was weird. Plenty of space but not much seating, free popcorn, lots of televisions. Marginal bar food, good if you need it. Great beer selection. Friendly bar and wait people although a bit understaffed when it's packed. Great sports bar. Go Pats!

good, loud music? Check. wide-open, groovy surroundings? Check. cool kids that like to dance (even the hipsters!)? Check. free Shows and two for one vodkas? Double check! in the middle of every thing? Check. what else do you want? just go!
