by Carmine Edgeston on I was here for opening night and spent NYE here this year. Outstanding space. There are very few places like this in the city. Its located at the top of nob hill, but on the bottom of an classic apartment building. The tone is red velvet and stuffy the way you'd imagine an east coast club. The tenders are exceptional, and the owner Gina is one of my favorite people in the city. We sat with her on opening night over a bottle of grey goose, and she is just a pleasure. She limited the NYE party to 150 max, and last time i checked the door, all but 7 had arrived before 11:30. The evening happened to feel a little republican convention to me, but the crowd was stellar, in the mood and festive. We split time between here and a friends top story condo in Pac Heights. A stellar evening and again, thanks to Gina for making it so. I have never eaten here, so I will make a revisit and re-review in the future.
by Bert K. on Decent to Butt Rockin' Live blues are played here in a small casual venue. Fabulous Fried Catfish here!!! You want to go here on a sunday for the Show and the All You Can Eat Catfish. or the All You Can Eat Fried Chicken. No collard greens here or hush puppies. This is the best fried Catfish in the city. It is succulent and not fishy at all. Very good fried Chicken is served here. Call to make sure this is still going on.
