bar was dirty...maybe filthy is a better term wine list ummm... didn't have any wines drinks were good... didn't want to eat because of the bar menus were worn and filthy For 6 drinks totaling $85 you expect a well maintained environment and running out of one, maybe two wines is OK. But the entire list? Where are the standards for excellence. Come on! Clean up the damn bar. This place is close to home and would love to visit it often. But every time I've gone it is the same crap. When will they get it?!?!?!  Maybe it should be called Cafe out of everything... I am giving them two stars because when they have all the items to make a drink they are good.

Meh. Why was it so hard to get in here? The name dropping it takes to get past the rope is just silly. Nothing special about this place. Plus one for the decor and the couch-lined walls. Minus one for the blaring overplayed hip hop & the overpriced drinks (how do you charge M&H prices if your cocktails are the standard run of the mill variety?). Not a place I'd frequent, though it could be a great spot if you book it for a small afterparty.

Went for Restaurant Week. Plantains were delicious. Caramel sauce was sooo light, just the perfect amount of viscosity and sweetness. Jerk chicken was okay- mashed potatoes tasted like the fake, powdered kind. Desserts were nothing amazing. Peach cobbler was the best dessert, but is it anything to find tastiness in hot + cold desserts? It took us three hours to eat there. This wasn't one of those leisurely food-is-so-good, "slow food" type meals. The place was full, there was live music, and just one server. Our waiter kept saying he was in the back making desserts. Yeah, right. Service, though personable and friendly, was too slow. Food was okay. Atmosphere was lively. I probably won't go again. Restaurant Week menu included: Choice of Appetizer: * Cinnamon Plaintains Crispy Outside with Sweet middle Sprinkled with Cinnamon (caramel upon request) * Turkey & Crasins™ Empanadas Carribean pastry Stuffed with Ground Turkey, Craisins ™, Sauteed Onions and Garlic Served with an Apricot Sauce * Herb Dusted Calamari Perfectly Seasoned & Served with a Chipotle Aioli Sauce Entree: * Guava Jerk Chicken Breast Meat Marinated in Jerk Seasoning, Sauteed, then Topped with a Guava Jerk Sauce * Pan Seared Corvina Seabass Lightly Battered and Fried, Finished with a Pan Searing with a Curry Masaman Glaze * Mango Bourbon Glazed Pork Chops 10oz French cut Pork Chop Pan Seared & Glazed with Mango & Bourbon Fused Sauce Dessert: * Creme Brulee Cheesecake * Deep Dish Peach Cobbler * Red Velvet Cake
