A bunch of friends and I came here for dinner on Tuesday night- only reason was due to the half price night for ladies. Food was good and service was decent~ but if it had not been half off, definitely not worth it. Also, what if a guy joins you for ladies night......what happens then?

Needed a spot near ny city center bc the rents went to a show, but this was slightly dissapointed.  they had a price fixed menu for 35 which was ok. crab cake and hanger steak were good, but not great. overall it was forgettable

Well, I grew up in New Jersey. That means when I went here last night for a friend's birthday, (a) I won both rounds and (b) I cringed a little on the inside. I guess if you want a ritzy, done-up joint to do your bowling in, this is probably the place. But I felt the atmosphere and the models to our right (or were they part of the decor too?) dulled the spirit of bowling. This is certainly not a hangout for local kids, unless they're packing "hundies" and an appreciation for loud hip hop accompanying their game. Maybe that's the hip thing these days, but when was bowling hip! The place is big, lots of lanes, lots of ways to blow some cash. Post-whatever time, under-21s are only welcome with sufficient chaperones. It's dark, and a visual array of OCD music videos span the lanes. The margaritas are good, probably not worth the money. The pizza isn't terrible, though certainly certainly not worth the $17.  They try to make things classy with choices like trio of chips--potato chips, sweet potato chips, and fries each in their own bowl, with their own puddle of dipping sauce served across a pretty white rectangular dish. Wtf? I guess this is New York's adaptation of a traditional favorite like bowling. But I will not be going back another $300 bill anytime soon. Is that why they call it 300 New York?? And for the record: 2 hrs of bowling with up to 6 people, including shoes rental, a large pizza, and three pitchers of soda comes, comes out to $55 on a Saturday in New Jersey.
