I love you woodfire grill.  You are my favorite restaurant in all of ATL now.  I love you Kevin Gillespie for you kick ass on Top Chef and you support sustainable farming and your pork belly is just absolutely amazing. Tasting menu is a must when you come here.  And FYI, your hair and clothes will smell like you've been at Woodfire Grill that night.

I like the 3rd Floor Cafe, it's like many of the bars in K-town (or Korea Block, ha!)... anyway, it's so obscurely hidden in an office building/department store above the Galleria on 32nd Street, you have to walk past this security guard, who I'm not really even sure he's doing anything because anyone just saunters in past him anyway, haha! He better not be a government worker! So you take the elevator up to the... yep, you guessed, the Third Floor. Once you've survived those three trecherous flights up the tiniest elevator in the world, you reach the Third Floor. It's got high raised ceilings and wall to floor windows throughout, so it's super open, but nice and dimly lit, so you have kind of that intimate feeling. There's a couple seating areas separated by raised levels, and strange architectural (probably  more for the design affect than support) wall dividing the bar from the "dining tables". It's a fair size, there are a good number of tables, and some couches for the loungey feeling. It's pretty much your typical Korean bar, kind of trendy almost posh, but not too much where you feel stuffy. The best part about this place is the Tuesday night happy hour special from 5-8pm. All you can eat Fried Chicken, Don Kat Su (fried pork cutlet), Rice Cakes in pepper sauce, and Beer/House wine for $20 bucks. I mean c'mon.... that's awesome. I used to be able to take part in this when I was unemployed, so it was awesome, I wish the specials lasted until at least 9pm, so that I could make it after work, but probably best that they don't. Otherwise I'd be incapacitated for the remainder of the day. But a good place, at least try it out, c'mon that's a great deal. Warning: it's maddddd crowded especially when it's nice out, and when it's a school holiday (lots of college kids). Enjoy!

I attended a birthday party here last month... Hot event... Nice looking people and great table service... I agree with someone else the music was all over the place but I had fun... it was a cool vibe and I would go there again...
