by Chris W. on Great food, excellent beer selection, awful service. I was impressed with the food at Grace Tavern when I first tried it... big taste for a small place. I order their burger and several other items on the menu, everything that I tried didn't disappoint. The beer selection - (as mentioned in many reviews) is very good. The staff and service - thumbs down. I can take jokes, and never take them personally. The one bartender at Grace Tavern is one of the worst bartenders I've come across. Its not even for a gimmick to keep the atmosphere of a local bar, hes a miserable person. I would ignore his comments completely if it wasn't for his slow service. Also, be aware - if you don't laugh while hes making fun of you, he will probably skip you a few times when you're looking for another beer. Its a shame, Grace Tavern is a nice place. I would enjoy it much more if I can put down a few beers without all of the stupid comments.
by Ramiro Oneill on This used to be the place to go for me and my friends to go but we got lazy and stopped wanting to drive all the way to the city. But wednesday night is the night to go if you're a twenty something. the drinks are fantastic. The large windows overlooking the whole city while you dance the night away is the best part of this club. Me and my girl are smokers and when i found out we would have to go all the way down the elevator and outside to smoke i was like "what!?" but we ended up meeting a bouncer that escorted us to a tiny little balcony right next to the dance floor that was reserved for staff only. I was super relieved and it was the warmest night in the city that whole summer so it was not windy or cold. With a gorgeous view a lit cigerette and free drinks ...turned out to be one of my better nights of that summer.
