After hitting up the clubs in luxurious cities like Vegas where women are treated like queens, there's 2 things I hate about clubbing in the city - waiting in line and paying ridiculous cover. I don't know how many times I had to run out of line to try to sweet-talk the bouncer in letting our massive group pass before 11pm just to ensure our $5 guestlist cover. Perhaps if our guy-to-girl ratio balanced out last night, it would've been a bit easier. Luckily, even though we didn't get to the front until 11:15, they let our entire party in for $5 and didn't even bother to check the gl for everyone's name. How suhweet is that!? I remember my first time at Temple being way more crowded. It was nice not having to booty bump into everyone on the dance floor this time, but it still didn't solve the ventilation problem they tend to have in the lower level (where they've got hiphop). The music was really bad and I didn't hear 1 top 40 hit, but I managed to have a fun dancing the night away with my peoples (minus the mega sweatiness in that sauna-basement). The evening came to a halt when our birthday boy ended up in the hidden EMT room for puking out all his free drinks. Ya heard right...an EMT room!! Unlike other clubs I've been to, the bouncers here actually care about their guests by passing them along to 2 medically trained personnel rather than throwing their drunk asses out onto the streets. They offered free water bottles, face towels, and garbage cans for the overly intoxicated to take care of their business without ruining the venue. Until you're sober enough to walk back out to the club or your friends show up to take you away, you're not allowed to leave their sights. I thought this was such an awesome and thoughtful idea. WHY DON'T ALL CLUBS HAVE THIS COURTESY!?!! Major kudos to management for thinking of this!

Onto the next portion of my evening with good looking, Italian men. Going here on a huge deep house/funk night was definitely worthwhile. I really enjoyed the set up of the place, with easy access to both sides of the top level, a decent coat check, and a large bar unobstructed by drunks and bartender with a stiff pour. While I had plenty of dance room, I will say the lighting was off. Then again, it seems to depend on the night you go. Meanwhile, I could have spent hours hypnotized by some of the badass dance moves going down on the floor and the weird guy running around with a plastic aborted fetus hanging over his shoulder. Bizarre. But good times.

Liked it in high school but so much now. Can you say "ghetto" and not of the ghetto fabulous kind. Every girl here seems to be under 18 and every guy here seems to be wayyyyyyy older. Gross! The food is edible but not the atmosphere.
