by Emily T. on My girls and I waited for over an hour just to get into the club and we were there at like 9:30 when the club wasn't even open. The bouncers were ridiculously rude and told us they would throw us out if we didn't stop cutting. Helloooo it was just blobs of people and there wasn't even a line and it was right in the front after everyone was checked off. $10 a person on guestlist. Not too bad. $5 a water bottle, like any other clubs. But, there were only 2 bartenders! I couldn't even get anything for at least 10 minutes. Lots of people on a Thursday, but no cute guys. Mostly Asian guys who are ugly and aggressive. Huge ugly sausage fest. Which led to just a night of dancing with the girls. The music was pretty decent and we danced til almost 1ish and stopped in between to take breaks in the techno lounge room where guys were trying to show off their horrible dance moves. Sigh. There were go-go dancers later on in the night stripping down to just pasties and their underwear. The guys went crazy. Highly doubt that I'm coming back here again. Good thing I got a ride there and back with free water bottles throughout the night...
by Emmett Penland on When ever I 'end up' here - I am really happy. I mean REALLY happy. So don't knock it till you try it...Sure it can be a scary place - but one good time here and you will feel great that you experienced it. It's the kind of place where guys don't come to find 'the girl next door.... Which I have never understood exactly because if they (hetero only) want to find the 'girl next door' - go next door! In fact I think the SF flower market 'next door' has similar hours....haha
