by Alden Delos on View is great, but they really need to charge a higher cover to keep the riff raff out. Way too many loser wanna be's. Bouncers seemed to let anyone in the door...this place could be really cool..but they just let it get too crowded with too many twenty somethings without any money or class.
by Ginger M. on 7/20/2010 Service was fantastic. Very attentive, friendly, knowledgeable and sensitive that we were in a hurry. Asked about the rose wines and I was allowed to taste all three! Enjoyed the snapper - wonderful mix of flavors and despite being fried fish felt healthy and fresh. My sister had the flank steak - smaller dish and was impressed by the larger than expected portion size. The meat was cooked perfectly, tender and flavorful. Wonderful dining experience one of the best I've had in ages in LA.
by Perry Schopper on Was there for the Norte Dame vs USC game. Typical "bar food" and ambiance. The wall of TV's appears to be projection type screens and quality is poor. They should invest in some better technology. Bar tenders were attentive but not engaging. If I went there with a large group it seems like it would be fun. There are pool tables in a side section and it is not too far from union square.
