The Gin Mill Restaurant and Tavern is Albuquerque, New Mexico's favorite pub. A full service bar that serves both New World and New Mexican cuisine, the Gin Mill Restaurant and Tavern also stocks fine wines, beers, liquors and liquores. The atmosphere is distinctively that of an old English Pub, and the Gin Mill is reknowned for its comfortable setting and excellent fare. Stop by the Far North Shopping Center in Albuquerque and experience one of New Mexico's best taverns.
by Courtney R. on Three things I like about mighty 1) Great event selection and great Dj's 2) Nice atmosphere (People and place) 3) no trouble parking Most recently went to Mighty to see Bonobo on the 4th. Had a great time. Drinks are good and reasonably priced, the service is also friendly. The crowd in pretty good, mostly people in late 20's and early 30's, so I did not feel old (yay!). I have also caught some other great Dj's here liek Kid Koala. They had DJ Krush awhile back but I sadly missed out. Needless to say they have great taste on who they pick to host. The parking is amazing, never had trouble, and never had to park far away. Most likely it is because Mighty is situated away from most things..which is great. The atmosphere is cool, neat artwork, high ceilings and a good warehouse feel. Not sketchy warehouse but posh warehouse. I recommend coming here and checking on a regular basis to see hat they are bringing in.
by Noella Lezon on I went to The Estate for the first time last month. It was for Halloween actually and I was totally impressed. Not only were the decorations INSANE but the crowd and music was awesome. Since then I've been a few more times...it's definitely worth it to get a table. I think we booked one in the Kiki room which had its own bar and bathrooms which was convenient. I guess I'd say the only downside is the 20$ cover but once you're in i'd say it's a guaranteed good time!
by Lilian Model on I enjoy this place quite a bit, but it's been a while since I was there. Last event I went to was Chus & Ceballos that freakin' rocked! The music was unbelievable and the choice of the club was perfect. This club reminds me of those clubs back in the 90's (at least if I compare to clubs in Russia) when the biggest part of the club atmosphere was to make it as dark as possible, and I'm not complaining because I love it. Dark clubs have an effect on me, it turns me on, I think I even dance differently...so it worked for me...the music kept my blood flowing like something else does :-) I'm definitely coming back! PS: 4-starts and not 5, because i don't really like how they make drinks there!
