by Maria A. on Friday night was my first night in playhouse after a while. I used to go with girlfriends when I was still in college (not too far back actually). I went back again with college friends, and since i know someone we didn't have to wait, or pay. I'm pretty sure that most negative reviews are from people that can't get in. Anyways. I LOVE playhouse. It is always a solid fun night. Dirty Sexy House Fridays are amazing. The club doesn't open till10, but the dance floor starts getting full at 11:30-12 and goes till 4. DJ Berrie completely killed it that friday night. We danced all night! The crowd was ok- the occasional hollywood weirdo and tacky-dressed rich person, but it was tolerable. I was in heaven, the music was amazing and I can't wait to go back! :)
by Karyl Gotto on Awesome place! Great music, not like a house party DJ. Drinks are a little too strong, not very good but otherwise, bumpin' time! Be careful - this place is getting more popular every day. Call ahead and make sure it's not closed for a private event or having a gazillion birthday parties (uh hum - Stevie Wonder this past Friday). And if you do go, get there before 10pm or it'll be suckin'
