Got there at 11:35 and there was a line.  The line was not moving for a good 10 minutes.   Were there for a birthday party and thankfully a friend in the inside was able to get one of the staff to let me, my bf, and friend in since we were in the guest list without having to be in line anymore.  My boyfriend and I were able to get inside without having to pay a cover, which was awesome! But while on line, the bouncers are real a-holes.  They pretty much ridiculed the entire line of people by LOUDLY saying that none of us were good enough to get inside and that we might as well go home.  Yeah buddy, take a good look at the mirror, you ain't no catch yourself and you're only saying those things to make yourself feel better about yourself.  Seriously, the guy was not pretty and he was fat in the shape of beach ball kind of fat.  Yes, I shouldn't be this petty, but just hearing those kind of words coming out of that kind of person is just soooo irritating!! The price for two beers cost me $16 - $8 a piece for beer!!  Yes, I know it's NY, but $8?????  My bf paid with credit for 4 shots and he was hit with a 20% "service charge" automatically and there was still a line for tip!!  If you don't take a good luck at the receipt, you might accidentally give them an additional tip over the 20% they automatically add to the bill already. I don't remember if the music was good or bad.  It was probably fine if I wasn't complaining.  I can't say that I didn't have a good time there because I did, but that was only because of the friends I had in there.  If I had a choice, I will never go back to this club ever again.  The bouncers being so incredibly disrespectful and rude has sealed the deal for me.  I will never go back ever again.

Well... the sushi wasn't disgusting, and my husbands rice bowl was okay, but the server (there was only one person serving when we went) and the owner suck! I called them about an hour before we got there and asked if they had lunch specials, and were were told yes and were even told what they were... When we got there the server denied they had any such specials while the owner/manager that I spoke too just sat there staring at us since we were the ONLY people in the place!! Also, the server would like go outside and try to recruit people to come in... i know the economy is bad, but damn. After reading some of the other reviews, its clear that they do have lunch specials... so wtf?  Also, the "valet parking" was five dollars and he parked the car right in front of the restaurant... so we walked to it when we came out... all in all i just paid almost $40 for ONE sushi roll and a Rice bowl? for lunch???? ummm no thanks. Anyway... I don't think i'll be going there ever again.... i could have gotten the same sushi at ru san's and it woulda been cheaper and way more fun.

I've only been Wednesday night, twice.  I dig the layout/decor.  There's plenty of places to sit, why anyone would go to a club and sit is beyond me, keep your ass at home and turn on the radio homey, but whatever.  Anyway, the sitting area is in the middle as well as out back.  They gotta back bar that's more of a smoking area.  Gotta bar at the front where the dance floor is.  Dance floor is ok size.  Comparable to LAX.  Usually have enough room to putcha thang down just because you're not dick and ass with everyone around you.  Mixed crowd race wise as well as age.  Seen some old ass dudes in there tryna get there mack on.  The music.........hurtin ass top 40 with some damn 80's rock.  Now don't get me wrong, I rock 80's like Darryl rocks Soul Glow, but I'm beyond over hearing Def Lepard/G N R/Joan Jett/Bon Jovi, fuckin lame.  The D.J., whoever the dude has been when I've been there should be named D.J. Shoes in the Dryer cause that's exactly what it sounds like when he tries to mix.  So poor.  Drinks typical price/strength.  Never to hard to get one by the dance floor, and if it is, cruise to the smoker bar.  With the exception of who I was with, the honey's were hurtin.  With the right D.J., this place would be coo.  Based on the music choice, I'm good on this place until I hear they've changed it up.
