I'm from Atlanta and the nightclub scene there is epic so I use my experience to gauge other spots I've been to. Circle is a love or hate place.  Most people make too quick of a judgement before they really experience Circle.  There's two situations you can find yourself (for the most part).  You can either be like 90% of other cheapskates who try and pretend to have the money to club by showing up in the normal line; this will cut your first impression of the place down a bit.  OR You can do it like you should and get a table (if not more).  The people who end up with the table option mostly love it, those who hate it are the people who wait it in line. I had a birthday event at Circle recently and trust me, getting the table service is FAR BETTER than doing it like the masses.  My group of 25 or so (they accommodate 15 at most but we ended up getting 5 bottles + plenty of shots, all-in-all a $2500 bill) got to the club at 10:30pm to see that no one was there.  This soon changed because when it hit 11:30pm, people started flooding the club like it was a bull run in Madrid.  The club gets packed quite quickly and you will not regret the table service (unless the price tag is too high). On average, tables can run from $300 upwards, based on the number of bottles you get. On the outside, the staff are attentive to dress code and are highly selective with the guy to girl ratio.  Hence, Circle has more girls than guys (smart business idea, albeit restrictive).  Even with my group, we had 10 guys and only after we told them another 8 girls were joining, did they let such a big group in.  Normally, you should expect to have a 1:1 guy:girl ratio (preferably 2:1 girls to guys) or expect to wait in line for awhile.  Only way a group of guys are getting in without girls is to offer to buy extra bottles at a table (happened to me the first time).  Even if you have girls in your group but they got there ahead of you, you will be stuck outside.  Big tip: come together with the whole group unless you have stragglers that are girls. There is an opposing side on the inside; the waiters and section managers are extremely friendly and helpful.  In other words, they really look out and make sure you have a good time.  Even if a friend is too drunk or rowdy, they will seek you or another friend out and give a heads up to the situation (most clubs in my experience don't bother with this).   The section manager will seek you out and check how the service is going and once in a while, the manager will pop by and offer a few shots (special occasions mostly) Enough of the employee relations, onto the actual club.   While the space is big for a NYC joint, the decor is slightly lacking.  Most of the location is in black and only the VIP tables are set-up nicely.  The main floor bars are set-up with the sense that it is not for show but for sales volume.  The bottles are not lined up in an attractive way which some clubs do to enhance decor but are there for bartenders to shove out the popular drinks and shots quickly and efficiently. The VIP section is set-up nicely, as mentioned before.  The one thing it lacks is space; most tables are smaller than bed stands but the couches are arranged around so that more people can fit than normal.  My suggestion is to have 6-8 people for one table but not more.  My group of 25 was seated at 3 tables in connection so it was just big enough.  All-in-all it was a good time. This club does include a 20% tip for almost all orders so be careful not to tip extra.  Example:  Four shots of patron and one coors costs $90 because it includes tip. In my opinion, the music selection could use some heavy work.  They mix it up with Korean tunes, NY Hiphop (where's the west coast and dirty south music?), and some random house/electropop mixed in.  Honestly, the music would make the club much more poppin' if they played some real hiphop and rap, not just the radio tunes that blast everyday 24/7. As for the masses, there are quite a few attractive girls that show up but unless you got some hustle, don't bother.  If you aren't willing to drop some $$ to have a good time, you will probably be a sideliner watching everyone else. If you want to have a good time, willing to spend some dough, and have ladies to bring with you, this spot is great.  Even though its one of two Asian clubs in the city, it gears itself primarily towards Koreans.

I love the Georgia Aquarium! My favorite is the giant tank and tunnel ("Ocean Voyager" section)...I could have stayed there under the tunnel watching all the sealife swim around me.  The vast size of the tank is amazing...both the tunnel and the giant picture windows offer wonderful views of the the whale shark, giant fish, mantha rays, etc. Unfortunately, the other exhibits didn't live up to the ocean tank section, though on their own, they are still great exhibits.  The jellyfish are a personal favorite...gorgeous!  I look forward to seeing the dolphins when that exhibit is finished. I like the interactive-ness:  being able to touch sharks, rays, starfish, anemones, shrimp.  I am a bit of a scaredy-cat...I can eat most of these things but touching them while alive creeps me out a little.  But I did it anyway...they didn't sense that I have consumed their brethren and didn't attack me. I came to visit on a Monday and it was uncrowded and open.  Having all sections converge into a central large open space works well logistically so you can go in whatever order you please.  I can only imagine how insane this place can get on weekends.  Anyway, I'll be back- I bought an annual pass!

The place is relatively dark and although there is no real dance it still can provide a great time. The bouncers are great (but that might be because it was girl's night out and no boys). However, there are quite a number of sleazy guys that seem to frequent the bar but do provide great day after stories to add to your collection of living life. If you're looking to be in a room of elbow pushing, you will have lucked out because the place is not empty but neither packed. I had a great time but not a place that I would necessarily say I have to go to every weekend when I have the urge to go fist pumping. There is also a cover charge of $15.
