The food was fairly good and their happy hour, Mon-Thur is a definite bargain - $20 for any appetizer, entree, dessert and a well cocktail or beer! Hard to beat that! However, the restaurant missed the mark for me in many other ways. I came here with my husband just a little before 7 and we were the only ones there. The server was very sweet but SLOW. It took us about 15 mins to just to get our beers. Also, the funky smell of the space was a bit overwhelming for me and unfortunately took away from the tastiness of the food. I might give Little Baobab another try one day to go show off my dance moves but I think I'll skip dinner next time.

by Rafaela Vickery on I was in midtown today looking for a burger. The rateclubs reviews I found for this place made me curious. Very friendly staff, my server was quite attentive and nice. I tried the bacon and cheese burger. I was impressed at how the burger to bun ratio was just right. The meat was also prepared medium, which is how I like my meat, and the bread was just moist enough, not soggy. The french fries were delish and the bill was 10 bucks. I will definitely come back and try all the fancy burgers. Yay Flip!
