I was feeling pretty lukewarm about this pub to begin with. While the decor is a bit sexy-pub, the crowd is loud and drunk. There's a weird stair and lip across from the bar that I was shoved into numerous times. The line for the bathroom was forever long. It's too loud. But then walking from the back to get outside was hellish. I got slammed into numerous times, spilled on, and blocked on multiple occasions, just going a few yards. I can see why this bar is popular, I guess, but I won't be coming back. Highlight: go to the back of the bar and try to figure out what the painting across from the bar says.

Grabbed a coffee with a neighbor here. She told me that this place can be "kinda loud," but when we went, the place was really tame, (Sunday night). This place is a sort of coffee/bar/lounge. Strange concept in theory, but works. In the back is a quieter corner where people were working on their laptops, and on the other end is a more loungy area where people were mingling, drinking and eating finger foods. There's a really cool fireplace that heats the place up. Come for a coffee, or a drink or just come to check out the art for sale. Cappucinnos were d*lish, and the staff is super friendly. Will be coming back. Really liked this place.

This is the perfect place to come and chill...to me, it has mroe of a lounge environment than a club, even when it's poppin. it's never over-crowded with people, even on busy nights, so there's always space to people watch, which is one of my favorite things to do. they've also got a nice dance floor, where people can regularly be seen getting wild, but really, in halo, it happens everywhere. i absolutely love the setup...there's a bar on the entry floor, then two landings with couches, tables, and free space for dancing (or whatever else people do in clubs...), then a top tier with a dj, dance floor, and stairs cascading down from the ceiling that gives you prime viewing of everything that's going on. from there, you can peer at those that are bold (or drunk) enough to shake their asses, and then see even farther over through a clear railing the bar below and all of the people sitting down their socializing. drinks are also great, and i particularly enjoy their lemon drop martinis, but you can never go wrong with their $2 grand marnier shorties
