by Wan Mancinelli on I stopped in here last night with some friends because we heard they just started serving food again. And not just regular bar bites but Southern food! YUM! We had the beef brisket, pork ribs, BLT salad, brussel sprout, fried green tomatoes and both the desserts! YUMMY! The portions are huge and waitress was super attentive. I'd come back here again. Oh, and they're remodeling so everything is super nice.
by Esther K. on I so wanted to like Suede because it was 5 blocks from my apartment and I'm the laziest person alive...but it's tooo ghetto. I like my dives and all but this was too much even for my extremely low standards. The place is next to an adult bookstore and has NO sign (except during the daytime I see a piece of computer paper with "Suede" printed on it taped to the door).

Then Hong Kong at Harvard Square is for you! Two words: Scorpion Bowl...a blessed salad bowl full of anonymously alcoholic liquid, ice cubes and small plastic animals. After downing one or more, make sure to arrange your residual plastic animals into lurid embraces...and then photograph them with your camera phone. Also, be sure to take the multiple, cartoon-sized straws from your empty bowl and attach them to one another so you can steal booze from other people's Scorpion Bowls at distances of up to 5 feet! Trust me, they'll love it. Never go to the first or third floors of this establishment. To my knowledge, Scorpion Bowls can only be found on the SECOND floor.
