I had an incredible experience here. I am a special educator and I brought my students here on a field trip to bowl. My students need a lot of accommodations and also have very restrictive diets. Typically Bowlmor does not allow outside food into the alleys but they were very accommodating to our needs. They also supplied us with every accommodation for the actual bowling we asked for without question. The staff member who took my reservation was extremely friendly, helpful, and overall just wonderful. The staff at Bowlmor itself were friendly, incredibly nice to my students, and checked in with us regularly while we were bowling to see if we were having a good time. I have also been here in a more social capacity and had a wonderful time and equally as wonderful experience as before when I brought my students. My only issue with Bowlmor was with the cleanliness of the bathrooms. Could have been better. I would recommend this establishment to anyone.

The original is the best :) Even though it's not in the original building any more, this location rocks! I can't wait til it gets warm again so I can hang out on the rooftop bar. The service & parking situation here is way better than the midtown location too. We recently visited when we got on the interstate the wrong way after a Falcons game. We thought, hey let's stop at Six Feet Under since we're over here anyway. Well lo & behold, because we had been to the Falcons game, we each got 50% off our entree. Amazing! They give you this discount for Hawks & Thrashers too. I got the crab boil - 3 or 4 clusters of snow crab, potato, corn for $9.50. I would have paid full price for it though, it was sooo good! Sweet and perfectly cooked. I also adored the sweet tea. Another of our party got the shrimp boil, and he had to have had at least a pound of shrimp on his plate, each one delicious. Their cocktail sauce is reeeeally tasty too. My sister tried the surf & turf and the filet was huge and also perfectly cooked. Her only complaint was the "surf" half was a skewer of shrimp that was only ok.

If you select carefully through the menu, there are a few things (like crab cakes) that are edible.   But the reason to visit Iguana's is not the food; it's the margaritas. They're tasty and cheap.  The complimentary chips & salsa are a nice touch. If you live or work in Midtown West/Hell's Kitchen, Iguana's is nice place for a happy hour or Saturday afternoon drinks. The front bar is quite large and I was surprised to find it crowded on a recent rainy Satuday afternoon.  Yes, most of the people were tourists, but it was fun to talk to them.  Most of us have move to NYC from somewhere else, let's not forget.
