by Gianna R. on I have mixed reviews about this W I stayed here this past weekend for 4th of July... I stayed here for 4 nights and upgrades to a Corner Suite the Room was great the bed was Comfy the Pillows were a bit to soft but the Suites are way better and worth the upgrade.. The Bathroom in the Suite is Private compared to the Regular rooms and its Huge, it has allot of room with the double sinks and Huge Mirror the only bad part was the lighting it was very hard to put makeup on because it wouldn't get bright enough.. I loved the Shower it was Sexy and Romantic and Big Enough for 2. The Pool area is gorgeous but I wish it would get more sun and on weekends with having the Dj is a really nice touch.. Now the Issues.. The HBO in our room wasn't working and it took them 2 days to resolve the problem, Our room was not cleaned in a Timely Manner we would leave for the day come back around 3-4-5pm and the room still wasn't cleaned that is just unacceptable in a Hotel like this.. There was a bunch of Rowdy Kids at the pool and this is a more Adult Oriented Hotel, Kids should be behaved and if they aren't when we would speak to the Staff about any of our problems they would only be snotty and act like they were doing us a favor and then nothing would be resolved.. Also the Valet were not very friendly either and with a charge of 30 a day plus tips they should have been allot more helpful.. If they have an adjustment in the Staff I would def come back here again and would probably rate it allot higher but the staff and the handling of our issues brought it down to a 3 star.... If they would take the staff from the W buckhead and put it in the W downtown this would be a total 5 star..
