So... I've been here twice and both times I showed up around 3-4 when all the other clubs closed. I enjoyed myself both times. This place is always playing house music and playing it very loudly. They have very awesome lighting that helps you keep going all night. The bar closes at 2 obviously and reopens at 6. I usually grab a beer at 6 for the novelty and then start to think about heading home. The crowd sometimes seems like they're on drugs or something (because they probably are) but who cares, everyones there for the same reason: to dance the night away and have fun! They have a nice patio out back. A portion of it has warming lamps over seats. They also have a waterfall type thing. It's a cool place to take a break from dancing and get some fresh air while still chilling. One thing to note: there's always a lot of gay guys here. Aparently Friday night is the designated gay night and even on other days, it gets to a point where there's more topless dudes on the dance floor than girls. It doesn't really bother me though because like I said before everyone's just trying to dance and have fun. Bottom line: come to The Endup if you want to dance your ass off until the break of dawn.

This was my first visit to Six Feet Under's new building on Memorial, even though I've been several times to their old spot (the new Tin Lizzie's). The new building is very nice, and HUGE. They sure can rotate the people in and out of there. I visited with friends who were in town from Virginia. We started with the fried calamari and zucchini fries appetizer. The zucchini was a nice addition. I chased the fried goodies with a buffalo chicken sandwich. This was a decent sandwich and the sauce had a nice spice level. The house-made chips that accompanied the sandwich were okay, although a bit on the greasy side as you'd expect. I wouldn't drive across town to eat here but wouldn't rule it out if I was nearby.

Overpriced and over-lame. I usually don't venture to bars that charge a cover, but I made an exception when a group of my friends wanted to come here the other night. It seems this place can't decide whether it wants to be considered a sports bar or a club, which makes for an awkward situation as some try to watch the Sox game on the giant TV while others grind and accidentally bump into the unsuspecting TV watchers. The drinks are also somewhat pricey, which makes paying the cover even more frustrating. Who charges $6 for Bud Light? Suck it. Paying a cover for essentially a noisy pub + expensive drinks + identity crisis = unfortunate.
