by Loma Lorentz on Came here with a group of friends after a boat ride and dinner on a Saturday night. We were not at all dressed up for the place-- in fact we were so casually dressed (but I would still like to think that we were casual in a classy sort of way. haha!), we were worried we wouldn't be able to get in (some of the guys had on white shoes). I mean, we were dressed for the boat! The atmosphere inside was really classy, it looked almost romantic. The lights were dimmed and they had some nice music -- my friends didn't think they were dance-able music but hey, I liked it. The dance floor was on the bottom floor, almost underground. Would I come back here? Yeah, sure if I wanted to mingle with a slightly older crowd (my friends and I are in our mid-twenties) and act as though I'm part of a classy and well-off, sophisticated bunch.
by Joane Dusza on Not bad, not good. Mediocre. Depends who is throwing the event. Sunday nights are pretty laid back and relaxing. Very friendly people.
by Erik C. on Cool summertime spot to grab a Corona and some french fries. They were called "garlic fries" but I think it was just old bay seasoning. Who cares! The rocking of the boat was weird at first, but once you get used to it this is a champ of a place! Drinking on a boat = Fun! Only bummer if that it's all the way on the side of the island and you have to cross the west side highway. So it's a bit of a hike to get back to the trains.
