There are nice art exhibits so it gives you something to look at while you're sipping on wine. What bothered me this time was the fact that they didn't care to inform anybody about a blackout. No lights, no music, you can't even see where you're going yet they don't even inform the new patrons about this (happily taking their money and charging them cover for a party that technically has cease to exist). That one move just torpedoed my whole perspective on this place. I used to think they had good/well intentioned staff that cared about their customers. Obviously I was wrong.
by Molly O. on I love love love frozen yogurt. I've made it a personal mission to visit every frozen yogurt place in my city. I first stumbles upon YM because I saw pictures on FB and I had to try it. I've brought my entire family here on multiple occasions but on my most recent visit (sometime last week) service was awful. I went there with my sister in the late afternoon and we each got our own tub of awesomeness. But once we got to the register the girl at the counter did not even greet us. She simply ushered us to put our tubs on the scale. She did not even smile and say thank you. It's not the first time I've experience bad service here but this instant was the worst. I greatly value customer service because I work in retail and I always make it my top priority to give awesome service. This girl(unfortunately I didn't get her name)'s lack of service made me seriously consider not visiting this location again. Good thing 2 more locations are opening closer to my house.
by Rodrick Ramin on Any Korean girl who says that she didn't know what booking was or didn't want to go to the club that night is lying. That's right, I'm calling you girls out! Cercle was my first introduction into K-clubs and if you are going with any decent girlfriends, they will give you the poop on what goes down. Days before setting foot inside the club, I knew what booking was, how to avoid it, what the dress code was (they do allow casual wear), etc. So, yes, waiters do come and try to take you to another table. Would I say, drag? Well, drag implies that you are being pulled against your will but who was it that stepped inside the club willingly? So no, I wouldn't say drag. Maybe, persistent ;] Two girlfriends of mine took my virgin k-club butt and my other virgin friend to celebrate recently being single. Wooo! And I had a good time! We drank, ate our obligatory fruit, and danced our little booties away! The dance floor IS small but I loved that. I liked that it's small and not too crowded. And if K-clubs do water down their drinks, we must've gotten a lucky night because I. got. wasted. The Crown was stroong. And I am NOT a lightweight. I was shocked. So I think over all, it was a good night =) I did get booked but most of the guys were really nice. And I think they appreciated that we didn't look pouty and put out by being "dragged" to their tables. So all the newbs out there, give it a shot. I'm not a clubber but for going to clubs, Cercle ain't half bad!
