by Winnie L. on Pros: Food Cons: Service is a bit slow, it can get quite loud inside and it is a bit pricey for the neighborhood. Despite the slow service and loudness the food is so good it's worth it. The only real draw-back is that it is a bit overpriced. However, I would still go here because it's just that good (although if the prices were a bit lower I'd definitely go more often). The portions are pretty sizable so I guess that sort-of makes up for the high prices. Some of my favorite dishes include the calamari salad (amazing) and the Salmon Avocado Cocas and the grilled skirt steak is pretty darn good as well.
by Kandis Kehres on I absolutely love this place! Every time I come here with my girlfriends we have the best time, couldn't ask for more in a hip Hollywood club. Of course its a task getting past all of the people trying to get in, which is a good thing because it's busy, but the doormen have always been friendly and professional. All in all the structure of the place is AMAZING. I mean come on, 5 FLOORS? My favorite was the rooftop because the vibe was nice and the crowd consisted of A listers. I've run into celebs there a few times...the Kardashian's had a VIP cabana next to me once, and a different night I saw Paris Hilton there too. Anyway, the Kress is definitely the place to be and be seen. Also, they changed the menu since the last time I had dinner there and thought the food was outstanding, especially the sushi. Reasonably priced too. LOVE IT!
by Gia Charlette on It's not Champs! It's got ambiance, and the food is awesome. Sports are available on numerous TVs throughout the dining area; however, it doesn't dominate the atmosphere. Had the Green Chile Beef Enchiladas (great rice) and Cover 3 Salad....somewhat on the high price side but excellent quality, but well worth it for a place I can take my wife for a nice meal while keeping an eye on my favorite sports team. Staff was very hospitable, overall a very pleasant experience, minus the smokers cloud when walking outside.
