I've been to this place during Tuesday nights for salsa dancing. It's decent if your sole purpose is to go dancing. My friend calls it Senior 72 because the crowd is older. But they know how to dance. I wouldn't come here if I wanted to meet a potential hottie but if you're a salsera or salsero, this place is pretty decent. Why the 3 stars then? Well, the dance floor does get quite packed and and the small room in the back is more ventilated but the floor itself is harder to dance on. WOuld I go back? Sure, why not! Just remember that you're there to dance! The men are pretty good leads! But then again, the older gentlemen usually are. :)

What a great property! I highly recommend this hotel for a weekend guest who is looking to stay in a more neighborhood setting. The rooms are fantastic. It's not a Ritz-Carlton nor a Holiday Inn. This is a unique property with very friendly staff. The location is in the center of the city - walkable to just about every part of downtown Philadelphia; the location is ideal for those visiting who are looking to stay in the gay friendly part of the city. Fantastic places to eat just steps away. I recommend checking this hotel out!

I have been to Tequila Rain a few times, and I think it's a great place if you know what you're getting into. The slogan of the place is "Spring Break 52 weeks a year". It's not supposed to be an upscale bar, it is supposed to be college-aged kids, drinking, dancing, Spring-Breakifying. Not for the faint of heart or the uptight. If you go for dinner, the Nachos Supreme come with everything (cheese, chili, lettuce, salsa, guacomole, sour cream, jalapenos) and the caramel cheesecake was delicious. I had this meal pre-Sox game one day plus a beer and it was overall a great day.
