by Josh L. on I really wanted to like this place. Great decor. delicious drinks good crowd...but for my friend's bachelor party we decided to get table service. We purchase 4 bottles to celebrate the night. However, upon returning from the dance floor we discovered that the final bottle had been cleared away and I was stuck with a $430 bill. I am happy to support the local businesses but $430 for 3 drinks is really not acceptable... I attempted to speak with "customer" service and was told "too bad". It's funny because I was always taught the customer is always right... Myself and my group spent around $800 (not including the $430 for the removed bottle) and this is how we are treated. Good luck with that attitude guys...I really expected much better....FAIL
by Elton Hossain on Bowlmor has: a monopoly on Bowling in lower Manhattan, a fun atmosphere, watered down drinks, lots of lanes, and pretty good management. It's expensive compared to suburban type bowling alleys, but they're renting a huge amount of space in prime Manhattan, so the prices are fair. I say they have good management because our scoring system froze in the middle of our game, and the manager threw in an extra game as a results. Everybody had a lot of fun...we had a group of 8 in one lane. A few people ordered the ginormous $85 jar drink...not worth it, since it's mostly ice and a ton of sugar. Good place to go if you want to drink and not just hang out at your typical bar on a weekend. If you want to save a little dough, try Harlem lanes or somewhere in the outer boroughs.
