by Kristen S. on It's very much a Kat Von D spin on a Mexican bistro. What does that mean exactly? Very Hollywood, very rocker, very hip. All good things when you're out on the town with your girls, like we were! The interior is one of the best draws to this place...it's dark and sexy with attention paid to the details everywhere you look. I love the Mexican marionettes by the bar, and of course the velvet walls and candlelight! The food is good, the drinks are strong. I ordered the burrito and let's just be real...it's the size of a small child! I also had the shrimp bisque, which was slightly spicy and delish! The chips and salsa and bean dip were also a yummy starter. I think there was a little too much heat throughout the entire meal, and my friend agreed with this. But all in all a great spot for margaritas!!

I've always been hesistant of eating at these types of places, but I really enjoyed the food here. The celebrant opted for the $30 prie-fixed menu which was a 2 course meal. For my first course, I chose the vegetable curry with the naan. Really good curry; not too spicy and the naan was good. I chose the salmon for the second course. I think the salmon was undercooked, but I couldn't verify it because the lighting in there was pink and kinna dark. I was able to try the lamb from someone else and it was good too. Didn't check out the club, but will definitely check it out one of these days.

"noooo its thaaaat way" "um i think its this way" "no...it's that way cuz market's thereee and we're heeeere. seeee iphone" "ohh.....i thought it was this way....mayb it's that way. iphone's always right" "yooou should get an iphooone like me.....seeee" "yeahh~~ i should......GO~~~ IPHONE~~~" "yeahh...." after walking about 15 min.... ........WHERE ARE WE?................OMG...........IT WAAAS THAT WAY....fuuck "seeeeeeeeeeee i tooooold yoooouu...hellllla suuuupid" "but iphone said~~~ damnnnn" i'm pretty sure we looked like idiots walking around SOMA in our dresses & stilettos dragging the poor boy who NEVER walks anywhere from here.......to there...back to here anyways.,....finally got there.....was good...no cover...or at least i don't remember paying cover? how did we get in? hm....i wonder......mayb he paid? ONE bathroom stall....no fun waiting.....people TKO on the beds (for those of you who did not play STREET FIGHTER on your super nintendo......tko= total knock out) but~ open later than some other places...room to dance...just DON'T walk there especially when you have a boy with a bentley oh-so-willing to drive seemed like such a good idea to walk at the time
