by Lara Chinchilla on Tuesday Night Special: Unlimited Chicken and Pork + Unlimited Beer and Wine = PWNED We got there at 6PM. Ate some bomb fried chicken and pork katsu. Drank. Woke up the next day at 3AM and not remember a thing. (We had to be carried out of the restaurant.. -___- ) It was a good night.
by Toni Gettens on Is it just me or does it seem like they serve everything with a chili pepper, regardless of what you order. That and corn. They serve corn with EVERYTHING. I swear I ordered a margarita there once and it had corn and green chilis in it (too exotic for me). The food is basic and I'm not sure it's worth the price. It's Atlantic Station location seems to give it more reason to charge more. I really like the dining room layout and the large windows are very inviting. Parking is pretty easy in the ginormous Atlantic Station parking structure. Just don't go on Sunday. It's a hot mess.
by Madeline C. on Ok, let me mention that I have read the reviews from other rateclubsers before I came here on Saturday night for my friends birthday.... and the majority of the reviews hit the nail right on the head. DO NOT GO!!!!. Duvet is very overrated and the club looks nothing like the website. However, I gave Duvet 1 star because I didn't have to pay. Despite what others have written about their experience on the line, I waited only 12 mins to get inside, not 30 minutes. The bouncer checked my ID, the bull-dyke security gaurd only waived the wand on me, and did not touch me at all, meanwhile her partner checked my purse ( looked in and gave it back, he didnt check every nook and cranny, like everyone else say). I have gone thourgh alot worst going into other clubs in Manhattan where security actually grope you, and your on the line for an eternity. The Negative about Duvet: The bartenders charge different prices for the same drinks (the female bartender charged me $10 for Hennesy and Coke, while the male charged $14). so watch out for that. The mix of music was bad. The "DJ" did not know how to mix at all. The beds were nasty with menstural stains and dirty chicks dry humping random men. Which leads me to the fight that broke out between "the dry humping durnk girl" and "the dumb girlfriend" Oh, and Duvet that night was also featuring the "Hustler" models on stage, I didnt see it because thats when I took a turn for the restroom. I dont think their modeling was all that special, by the time I returned it was all over. (5 mins give or take a min or two). If you want to have a better time, check out Kama right next door or Slate accross the street. I also heard Taj ( also accross the street) is good. Who ever gives this place more than 3 stars have not fully experienced the NYC club scene or, are out of towners who want to brag about the club in NYC with beds dirty beds inside.
