by KaThy T. on If you go through a promoter for guestlist and there's a special guest appearing that night, make sure you make the promoter specify the time, or else you have to pay. And get there super early! Ours just said to arrive early. My friends were mad that we had to pay ($30), but I knew it was going to happen because it happened to my other friends and me before. We had Ne-Yo perform Dec. 30 and he performed a just few songs while drunk! The venue is nice. When you walk in, it looks like the place is small with a bar in front, but you walk farther in it looks really nice (on the main dance floor). There are 2 more bars, one on each side and then you have 4 poles with go-go dancers with nice bodies; they give you the feeling that you're at a strip club. The front half of the main flooris VIP. There were so many guys there the night I went that most of the girls went up on the rises by the couches to dance. Some guys just don't get it when a woman says NO. And guys should apply deodorant at the clubs because it was super pack that night, it was hard to get away from the ones who have major BO. At the bars: If you use a credit card, the minimum purchase to use a cc is $50. So freakin lame. And the drinks cost on average $15 each. The restrooms are nice. You can take pictures in there.

Beer list was adequate, bartender banter was cool...but if you are into being Green for mother Earth...Napkins are thrown periodically through the air scattering the floor. People hyped up the Hooters style outfits, but didn't see anything special about them...jus waitresses in shorts..but best part was the live music....a guy with a keyboard who appeared to be lipsyncing....awesome! He actually turned his head and the chorus played! He was awesome....because someone was actually paying this guy! What a gig! So go, it's fun..but i was a little disappointed in the food, especially as I was considering going to craftbar to eat and downsized because the shuttle drive said this was the spot to go to...Oh well...next time I'm going with Padma's sidekick...or eating at the bar at the woodfire grille....
