by Yon Montanaro on the order. grayhound vodka-soda buffalo wings i like this venue in west la. if i watched more sports it'd be a great place to come sundays and/or mondays. the drinks are average tasting but they are reasonably priced the buffalo wings are good. could use a little more sauce and better dipping sauce (the ranch was waterry) but this is definitely a no fuss drinking place that i'd come back to
by Marcelina Bonaccorso on I went for the second time last weekend with my brother, who was over visiting from the UK, and loved it once again. It's definitely a little on the expensive (and small) side, but then you get what you pay for, as it's got everything just about right. Minimalist, yet funky decor, impressive sound system, good range of drinks and most importantly excellent (house) tunes. A very cool, laid back crowd too! Definitely look forward to returning as soon poss, as so far it's the only place in NYC that from a club perspective has truly hit the mark.
by Timothy B. on This place is pretty killer. I have only been once but it was a zoo! The venue has a variety of people and settings. There is a circular bar, a fireplace, a nice dance floor, an outdoor patio and deck with fountain and waterfall! I was a little nervous because all the documentation about the club leaned toward house music but the night / morning we went it was deep house which ended up (hehe) being frikin sweet! The music was bangin but not earsplitting, and the crowd was chill except for the guy dressed like a pancake or hotdog or breakfast platter or something who kept insisting on getting in your face for approval of his freakish ways. But a healthy dose of positive "thumbs down" took care of him and allowed us to dance off what was left of our souls. so my only complaint is that its not very herb friendly and I can imagine that occasionally there are more determined freakshow circus runaways to contend with, but overall it was amazing. Go with friends, dance your ass on/off till you cant anymore and then stumble out into the blinding streetlife of any given Sunday.
