I aske about it and she said if we don't request it they don't do it. What if its the customers first time trying it, how are they supposed to know to ask? They should ask thats their job. In la it automatically comes out after your done!! How bogus, so my parents weren't able to get the full experience boo :(
by Pinchepartygirl G. on DEEP has been around for a long time now...9 years strong. nowadays, it is usually 10 bucks without a special guest, 20 bucks to hear artists such as louie vega, osunlade, and on holiday weekends. I used to be a regular at DEEP and would go every single sunday when i tused to be at the Viper Room and then when they moved to 1650 Schrader. I don't go very often anymore (unless it's a special guest that i've never heard live before), but i can ALWAYS say this about DEEP: I LOVE Marques for keeping a deep house club running for 9 years now, i LOVE the voice of DEEP aka Big Cee, and I LOVE that fact that old school heads that you would see at Does Your Mama Know (from coconut teaser days) are still coming around, dancing to the beautiful sounds of the deepest, most soulful electronic music around. Sure, some may say that the crowd is a little older, but thats house for you! lots of true heads! this club is more about the music, less about the pick up artists, so if you're a drunk guy trying to grab a 'date' here, don't be surprised if you get turned down. I gave DEEP 3 stars only for 2 reasons: 1.drinks are expensive. 2. the crowd can get pretty cheesy (i can't help it, i prefer the underground)..but overall, DEEP will always be my home and i love to be around my brothers and sisters...peace.
