by c_rocker on this place truely describes what has happened to new britain over the last 16 years it is so ghetto .the bar should really be shut down its like hepatitus on wheels if you walk in there so disgusting .people in the place have no respect just like the animals that they are im mean who needs them anyhow and consider this wack ass town too.you know its a real shame this town used to be so nice at one time almost like a tourist attraction .but look at it now 90 percent puerto ricans and 80 percent of them are thug wanna be touble makers they are all on the course for hell anyway god will give them the boot to hell for sure.as far as lidos goes i highly recommend you dont go there it sucks and the service sucks as well you wont be impressed at all .and theres this one fat black guy there who thinks hes all that too or something like whatever go back to school big boy this time around maybe the 3rd grade wont be so hard on ya sucka.drugs be run in and out of there too and the onwer knows this can you believe that.only a matter of time before this dumpster dive gets shut down and believe me good ridence for sure.it will be one step in revitalizing new britain. thank you and i hope you take my warning !
by Luanna Mcaloon on WORST CLUB EVER, DO NOT EVER GO HERE!!! it was dirty and gross and the people working there were horrible. one female bouncer kept shoving me even though i wasn't doing anything, keep in mind i'm a small girl and was not drunk or out of control. it was just ridiculous and abusive. i've been to clubs here and there around hollywood and LA, and vanguard was by far the most TERRIBLE place. it was ghetto and filthy too and creepers everywhere. definitely will NEVER go here again. go somewhere else if u want to have a good time!!!
by Kyndall M. on This was the first place that I tried upon moving to Atlanta. We ordered two Greek salads, the spicy cheese, and a Zorba (appetizer) sampler. The Greek salad was way too soggy since it was drowned in olive oil. Besides the feta, there was absolutely nothing in the salad to give it any flavor. The Zorba sampler came out, the fried vegetables were lukewarm. They were also cut way too thick to be fried. They came out very soggy. The grape leaves were obviously from a can. There were a couple of things on the sampler that I had never seen before (I know Greek food very well) - upon trying them they seemed to be rancid hush puppies. Overall nothing was good - we tried everything and finished nothing. Paying was a nightmare. The credit card machine was down so we tried paying with cash, no deal since the cash register wouldn't open. The waitress said she didn't have any cash on her (?!) and that she would go to the manager and see if she could get change. She came back and had shorted us by 6 or 7 dollars. This entire process of paying took 45 minutes. While she was supposedly getting the correct change from the manager, the manager walked by and asked if everything was alright. He didn't even know that his waiters couldn't get the register open. Rather than reassure us in any way he walked off. We should have just left when the waitress said she couldn't accept cash. On top of all of this, I threw up violently from this food all afternoon. I eat Greek food all the time and I have never become ill from it. Needless to say, we will NOT be going back.
by Ina Kea on My friends and I had soooo much fun here!!!! Ofcourse its a little depressing not getting hit on at all but what can u do when your a female at a gay club?? However, the guys here are so cute and nice and just make it a fun time!!! Cant wait to go agian!!!
