by Leslie R. on i love Circus! i've been here a handful of times and i have yet to be disappointed. the club has its own parking lot and i'm pretty sure on saturday's parking costs $15. the club itself is pretty big! there is a big outdoor patio area complete w/ heating lamps and plenty of tables and benches to sit. there are 3 main areas to club club 2 separate rooms downstairs and one upstairs. the first room usually plays electro-house and there is a bar, mini stage for people to dance on, as well as several couches for lounging. the 2nd room and the main room is huge and mostly plays trance/house music. upstairs is another stage and bar which is smaller than both rooms downstairs but the music is equally as good! also upstair there is a hallway like room with a huge one sided booth that overlooks the main stage. such an amazing view! i will definitely come back to Circus!
by Leonard Vogus on OOooo this place was NICE. My friend and I came here for drinks and we sat at the cool terrace area that had a great view. The atmosphere was laid back, and the people were friendly. We got mojitos which I TOTALLY recommend- not too sweet, not bitter, pleasantly minty and a bit fizzy. LOVED it. We got there around 7 and the sun started to set gradually. The whole place was pretty and upscale, and it is really a perfect place to catch up because you can actually have a CONVERSATION instead of a shoutfest. :) However, cocktails are quite pricey, so make sure you have CASH DOLLAz if you wanna enjoy yourself! (or you can just pre-party.. your choice).
by Barrett Rovell on It's as if every last one of the aging frat guys who moved from Houston and Dallas for college--and never quite grew out of the juvenile behavior which defines their ilk--have found this place and decided to make it their home away from home. The kinds of guys who would think it funny to hold a contest to see who could pick up the ugliest girl. The kinds of guys who, were they forced to see In the Company of Men (they'd never seek out an independent, non-action film on their own) would be rooting for Aaron Eckhart's character. Many years ago, in a land relatively far away, I had the misfortune to land a job selling (well, attempting to, anyway) windows and doors from a less-than-ethical company that talked gullible homeowners into taking out second mortgages to finance their products. If these unwitting marks defaulted on their payments, the company foreclosed and seized their homes. I eventually sussed this out during the course of my training, traveling all over northern Indiana with guys who were proud of their ability to talk someone into buying a pair of dirty underwear and putting them on. Those guys would love it here. Exactly one earned star for the decent beer specials. Which is necessary, as you'll need to be pretty soused to hang out with these tools.
