I had a great time here! Got there around 1045pm and went in through the special line for being on the list and didn't have to pay the cover which I heard is around $30. Walk up stairs, then a lady starts patting me down and goes through my bag thoroughly. She goes through every compartment, goes through my wallet, it took forever. I started saying nice things to her in hope of making her do it faster and not keep me stuck there. Drinks are expensive. $5 for shots, $13 for mixed drinks, $5 for water. I was hoping they could at least give me tap water, which should be free, but we had to buy that super expensive water. It wasn't even Fiji water or Smartwater, just plain water. There are 4 floors here: 1st floor downstairs: smaller room with a band performing. The band did great covers of Lady Gaga and other artists. 2nd floor (main floor): huge dance room with top 40s music. Lots of people. We made it to the stage which was full of creepy guys ew. 3rd floor: they had the circus show. There were stilt walkers, fire blowers, aerial artists, and also stage performances by some drag queen that looked like britney spears a bit. There were also these "creatures" dressed in weird silver costumes that made them look like something from avatar. They did a weird dance on stage and looked DISGUSTING. The guy next to me kept yelling, "what on earth is that?" There was a small platform where you could dance- it could hold about 10 people. Turns out if a was a sausage fest up there. Only guys up there trying to pull girls to dance with them. I gotta mention that the girl to guy ratio was interesting, so many more guys! Then Iyaz comes to perform. That was AMAZING. When he wasn't performing, they played techno music and everybody was just dancing like crazy. 4th floor (balcony for the 3rd floor): not that crowded. You could just see the stage and everything pretty well from there. At the side, there's another dance room with Spanish music, like raggae or something. There were also a bunch of creepers hanging around the balcony. Pros: *lots of dance space *variety of music on every floor *variety of acts to keep you entertained Cons: *full of creepers- good thing I went with a group of friends and the guys were always there to pull us away from creepers that would just grab you from behind *if you dance on stage, its so crowded, so be careful not to fall off *cover is expensive, and drink are insanely priced *you will be patted down EVERYWHERE and your bag rummaged through thoroughly. So bring a small bag with only the necessary stuff. *super hot in there- I was sweating like crazy and my eye liner was a bit smudgy... let's call it a smoky eye LOL. Where to go AFTER webster hall for drunk food and cheaper water: There's a McDonalds' nearby (Exit webster hall turn left, then right). Lots of people seem to go there, and there is no ac in that McDonalds too but at least you can get cheap food and diet coke and FREE WATER.

Soooo in the search to find a new favorite genre of food I ended up at Zahav to see what Israeli food had to offer. What an experience!! I ordered 6 different things from the menu as did my girlfriend which gave us a full tour of the menu. However one dish stands apart from the rest: So we ordered the Jerusalem platter which had the description "all the best parts" I was thinking veal or something like that. Wayyyy off track. The Jerusalem platter is made up of goose liver, goose heart, and goose testicle. I told the waiter that I loved chicken hearts so he threw in an extra goose heart for me. The liver was good and predictable. The hearts were good as well. The testicle was the a bit different. *Please stop reading if you have a weak stomach* First off which ever goose the came off of must have been head goose in charge, I mean this thing was almost a meal in itself!! When I bit into it it squirted across the table on to my girlfriend which prompted a scream. The flavor was very good however the constancy can best be described as mashed potatoes in kielbasa casing. I finished my entire plate but it wasn't easy. So that is my Zahav story, the food was excellent and Kevin Bacon was even there and if it's good enough for Bacon, it's good enough for me!!

I liked this place at first. Cool atmosphere and fun crowd. Then, right when we were leaving, the waitress/bartender watched us leaving her tip and said to her friend "they better leave me at least $15." That is NOT a good way to get a good tip, or return business. I was very unimpressed and would be hesitant to go back.
