Morgan Street Brewery - About Us
DJ - Fri. and Sat. after 10 p.m. Microbrewery, restaurant and multiple bars including martini bar. Pool tables, patio dining, plasma and big screens throughout the complex.

Nestled on cobblestone streets polished by more than 200 years of commerce along the Mississippi River, Morgan Street Brewery radiates the charm that only history can impart. Morgan Street Brewery’s rich architecture and warm interiors are highlighted by burnished wood and exposed brick and feature cozy nooks and corners. The main brewery building and adjacent Lodge, both more than 130 years old, are separated by a brick patio that is as perfect for café style dining as the popular outdoor dining patio along second street.

This place is usually crackin'.  Hella people... a mixture of nasty and hella cute.  So whatever floats your boat, I guess you can say.  However, if you wanna find newbie 21 yr olds.. this is where you'll find them.  Meh. Ladies bathroom needs work.  By that I mean, get the fuckin drunks out of the stalls and be courteous, pleaaaaaaaaaaaase. Downstairs level has better music but NO air whatsoever.  There's like 4 bar counters.. so thats a PLUS!  And... some rooms to just sit on your ass and chill from dancing and hot breath.  Oh, the room upstairs is the BEST place to chill cuz they actually have the A/C on. =)  The end.

Drinks

Honey Wheat - We run this light lager through a coarse filtration to retain its hearty and healthy components. Straw in color, and lightly flavored. This beer is hard to keep in the tank!

Vienna - The newest member of the family. Morgan Street Vienna is a Viennese Mild Lager. It has light toffee, caramel, and malt flavors with very low bitterness. This beer was created in memory of Ryan McCuaig.

Golden Pilsner - With a strong hop character, our version of a classic, Bohemian Pilsner is right on the mark. You'll find rich maltyness in the finish as well as a crisp palate.

Dark Wheat - A Morgan Street original, our Dark Wheat is light and refreshing. Don't let the amber color make you think that it's too strong for you! Sharp, wheat flavors greet you as fresh, breadlike notes satisfy.

Red Lager - Similar to a Vienna style lager, our Red is the perfect compliment to a hearty meal. Full body, smooth malt flavor, and subdued hoppiness makes this beer very drinkable.

Oatmeal Stout - This is an incredibly thick, rich, and spicy beer. You will find a well-rounded smoothness from the oatmeal. Roasty, deep black, and satisfying with a medium bitterness.

Irish Stout - Our version of an authentic Irish, dry stout. Guinness exemplifies this style. Medium to high bitterness with a coffee and slight chocolate overtone. This is one of our most popular beers!

Cobblestone Steam Lager - This style originated in San Francisco, California when a brewer used cold fermenting lager yeast at warmer ale temperatures. The result is a slightly spicy note on top of a crisp, lighter lager. One of our biggest sellers!

Maibock - A Morgan Street Seasonal served in May; this is a pale version of the classic Bock beer. Sweet, malty flavors dominate this extra-strong lager.

Altbier - We went to great lengths to keep this beer as true to style as possible. Copper in color, with a noticeable hop character, this is a great seasonal beer served only in summer.

Doppelbock - When there's snow on the ground, you'll see our famous Doppelbock on tap to warm you back up. Our strongest beer offers intense malt flavors and little or no hop aroma. This darker lager is definitely one to tackle over dinner.

Oktoberfest - One of our most popular seasonal beers. Prepared only for consumption in October, this beer has great malt character without residual sweetness. A mellow hop flavor in the background contributes just enough balance to this festive lager.

Winter Lager - This is where our Brewmaster has his fun. Different every year, the winter lager is always based in a medium-high strength brown lager with a myriad of interesting additives. Try one and let your serve know what you think or submit your suggestions for ingredients into next year's batch!

Krystäl - We know that sometimes you've just got to have a lighter, American styled beer. Our Brewmaster's latest offering, Krystäl, isn't heavy or bitter. This brew is the perfect thing after mowing the lawn, or while dancing up a sweat in our nightclub, The Lodge, on a Saturday night. Purity, clarity, structure...Krystäl
