by Jessenia Service on I would give it a 5 star if the Russian Mafia owners's weren't so bravado with how they run this place. Here is the deal. Playhouse is a very happening place if you go Friday or Saturday nights. Those are the only nights I have been there. they are pushing for MOnday nights as well but what i heard from some friends who have gone on Mondays is that it is full of a disproportionate amount of guys vs. girls (as is usually the case and what clubs try to avoid). The tables are a bit pricey ( $500 to start and go up to $2,000+) but typically you can get something in the range of 400-600 if you know one of the promoters. I like this place because even though it IS small, the festive atmosphere is nice. Employees are sweet (the shot girls are really nice)...and the place is open until 4 in the morning. Definitely worth the bang for the buck. On New Years they stay open till 6, but I'm sure people have better things to do on NYE. Overall a solid recommendation, but do NOT take cameras or expensive jewelry as things get hectic in there and we did have a stolen wallet from one of the women in our party so be very careful...
