Firstly, I attended SupperClub SF on a Sunday evening through a Groupon (however, many of the guests hadn't used the Groupon). 4-course meal: - Tuna Tartar: Not amazing. It was served with watermelon and tomato, but all the flavors ran together and just tasted like mush. I ate about half and then figured I'd save room since the latter dishes had to be better. - Potato Leak Soup - Significantly better. Actually enjoyed the dish, not too heavy. - Beef Tenderloin - The meat was enjoyable, however it was served on a carrot and snap-pea bed. The carrot remind me of what I think baby food taste like, but the snap-peas were good. - Almond, Bailey Mousse - Most definitely had been created at least 12 hours prior to serving and even as a dessert lover, I found no reason to finish the dish. Drink: - Not shy about alcohol content, and generally enjoyable. They have a fun cocktail menu so if you do go- take advantage of it. Misc: - Eating on beds is a cool experience and the sitting was very comfortable. Ladies - beware if you wear a dress. Gentleman - be mindful of what socks you wear. - They had popcorn in dog bowls at the bar. We were more into the popcorn than any of our dishes. - The performances were interesting, but nothing worth $55/person. Lessons Learned: - I'd revisit as a club, but wouldn't advise friends to visit as a dining experience. Btw- we walked away from the bed having paid a total of $155 for two people. This was on a Sunday, using a Groupon, and only consuming 2 drinks each. They include 18% gratuity regardless, and it is on the total amount of your bill (regardless of Groupons).

What a great time.  Long wait and a tad pricey but totally worth it.  The waitstaff was nice but a little slow.  The managers, however, were totally picking up the slack and could not have been friendlier.

Okay, so I had been to the Lucky Strike in Los Angeles, which is also WAY overrated, but a friend of mine wanted to spend his birthday here, because he said the one in Detroit was awesome...so I shut my mouth and tried to give Lucky Strike NYC a chance. Honestly, all I can say is this place is F-ed up! We called before heading over to see if we needed a reservation, but the girl on the phone said they only had a 20 minute wait. So about 10-15 minutes later we arrive to what seems like a club. There were bouncers outside and a dress code (for a bowling alley?!)...so after basically being frisked and forced to remove our hats, we got inside. People were dressed like they were at the hottest nightclub in town...which, once again in my opinion, is totally F-ed up! Now I realize that's kinda the feel they are going for, but unless celebs show up every other night, why would anyone want to go "clubbing" at a BOWLING ALLEY?! Wait, nevermind the celebs... WHO GOES CLUBBING TO A BOWLING ALLEY?!?! Whatever! So we go to sign ourselves up to bowl and the wait was now over 2 hours! Yes, fifteen minutes after we were told to just show up. Also, after checking out their prices we realized it was going to cost EACH of us around $20 PER game...WHAAAT?!?! We stayed there for about 10 minutes to wait for everyone to show up and then left... Hell No! Whoever comes here more than once for a simple night of bowling & beer, I pity you...You are wasting your money!
