by samantha m. on Soooo I came to Cocomo's for their "all time famous hip hop night" that's sooooo exclusive it happens only once a month. So I'm thinking this is going to be a greaaat time right? It was mediocre, not horrible but not fun...the real party happened after I left. When I was walking to my car I was approached by 2 guys who were also leaving the club...they proceeded to talk to me and borderline harass me begging for my number. When they realized that I wasn't giving in they began grabbing me. When I asked them *politely* to stop I got punched in the face, knocked to the ground and beaten by the two guys...as if their fists weren't enough..they took my high heel shoe off of my foot and stabbed me in the eye with it...6 stitches later...I WILL NEVER GO TO COCOMOS AGAIN!!!!!!
by Alex M. on Pod is the hot, stuck up girl with nothing really interesting to say. now, there's something to be said for this kind of girl. i visit frequently (the restaurant not the girl), usually with guests from out of town. its atmosphere is fun, especially if you get a pod where you can annoy the crap out of your fellow diners by changing the lighting in your pod to green or purple. look for the color that will make your food look like toxic waste. seriously though, the food is average and VERY expensive but its worth a visit.
by Sal Nol on There's way better pizza in Philly, we're not talking NY quality here but its out there. Don't buy into the Coal Oven hype it's not all that. The cheese is good but the sauce and crust just don't hold up.
