by Yoshie Vangyi on A group of my friends decided to go to estate to celebrate a birthday. It was a sat nov,14,09. We decided to get the vip room. We got there at 11:15 and started off by ordering 3 bottles which was $320 a bottle (2 bottles of goose and 1 bottle of henny). We started out with a group of 15 people and as the night started we expected more friends to show up. We told the head bouncer that we were expecting more people and he said he will take care of it. By the time midnight came around i had 7 more friends expecting to get in. It turns out the bouncer felt the need to charge them a door fee ($20 a head). I go downstairs and the bouncer starts giving me shit like we never had the conversation. I told him we have the vip spot upstairs and he ignored that fact. He said you will need to order another bottle or pay $20 a head to get in. He clearly didn't know a thing about customer service our the fact that he was really pissing off customers you want at your club. He targeted one of my friend who had white sneakers one...Now this guy was the last person you want to turn away. This guy spends more money every week at clubs then the bouncer makes in a month. The bouncer was trying to nit pick every little detail about his gear. I was so embarrassing about this whole situation that i decided to just give in. I told him to add another bottle on me until my friend stop me. He ended up giving the bouncer his black amx and told him to charge it. As soon as he saw the black amx his attitude did a 180. We ended up going upstairs and ordered 2 more bottles. Now we are at a total of 5 bottles combined. Thats about $1600 not including tip!!! At 12:30 we had 8 more friends show up. And yep you guessed it.....he tries pulling the same shit all over again... we ended up dropping $2500 that night which was fine by me...But it wasn't worth the bitchy attitude by the bouncer. Now we normally do this twice a month...get a bunch of friends together and go out and have a fun...But I DONT THINK WE WILL EVERY GO BACK TO ESTATE AGAIN!!! by Catharine Czyz on The Bubble Lounge made me feel like I was IN a bubble. The white downstairs cave that housed an extremely crowded dance party had me searching frantically for exit signs and fire extinguishers. Miraculously, the bar area in said cave was not as crowded and about twenty degrees cooler than the rest of the dance area. The women's bathroom is in an area that is not easy to get to, especially once you have already forced your way through the sea of sweaty people grinding on each other. However, like a Choose Your Own Adventure book, there are two options to reach the bathroom from the bar area: If you want to reach the bathroom by going back through the sweaty crowd, turn right. If you want to reach the bathroom by going upstairs, crossing through the lounge and coming back down the other stairs, turn left. After one drink, one shot and what felt like an epic journey to the bathroom, the music stopped and we were informed by a bouncer that the club was closing but we could go hang out upstairs. Whaaa? We went upstairs but at that point, I was so over The Bubble Lounge and everything that came along with it.
by Nickee M. on Had our birthday celeb here last night for the Qool and Fecal Face event and was not disappointed-crammed to the gills with beautiful-happy people....the art was titallating...the music pumping and the vodka redbulls were rolling down my throat. I love it here!!! Though I would not recommend mixing the white sangria and the red sangria we had earlier with the vodka redbulls....very horrendous hangover! Unfortunately every picture we took of ourselves is not fit to show here....welll what do you expect when you have been dancing....hot, sweaty, sticky hair....
