I moved here from NYC a little over a year ago, and have been having a hard time finding a bar that's not either overrun with 21 year old kids or some giant club, or super expensive! I rarely go out in Hollywood as I'm an eastsider, but after picking my boyfriend up from work in Weho, we decided to grab a drink, and he brought me to Piano Bar- awesome actual piano player in the back playing Elton John along with a harmonica player- ok get a star for that. Walk up to the bar- cool old saloon style writing on a chalkboard wall, order 2 drinks- $12- in Hollywood and not a sh*thole?- add another star! Sit down at the round tables and cool carpeting, leather stools- star!! Enjoy a great evening with good looking people very 'un-Hollywood' looking- star! Cool, laid back, stylish, affordable, good music- what else could I ask for? Just wish I lived closer I'd come by here more often!
