Mostly because of the roof top bar (Sky Terrace) though. I enjoy being outside as opposed to a crowded bar so this usually does the trick for me. The drink prices are reasonable but I believe there is a cover to get in at a certain part of the night. I don't mind that as much since there is a DJ. The restaurant part of Medjool is just ok. I would recommend you eat somewhere else and come here for a drink or two and enjoy the views of the SF skyline.
by Jeramy Newbauer on Sadly my drunken haze has made it difficult for me to comment on the full and complete MJQ Experience, But this is what I do know....the DJs (two of them) are off the chain (which is slang for very, very good, The drinks are strong (which is code for YOU WILL GET DRUNK), and the people are cool and friendly (which means no one stole anything out my purse even though I was drunk and would not have miss a dime). I will submit an updated SOBER review when I experience one.
by Reyes Meserve on Went here on Halloween when all the Asians come out to be merry and had a blast! Lovely smoking patio, 3 bars, two dance floors, and did I mention the smoking patio? I made rounds around that smoke-filled haven, bumming cigs and playing rock-paper- scissors for kisses with random people. The interior is one of the nicer ones I've seen: sleek, nicely lit, and clean. I also liked that there was always a place to sit and just enjoy the hoochiness. Drinks and parking are expensive, but it's Hollywood. You pay the price for fun.
