by Travis M. on Great food and great service - what else could you ask for? My gf and I hit this up for a nice Saturday lunch (and a trip to Sam's club). From the moment we walked in the door everyone was very friendly and we were seated promptly. We ordered the hummus which was good but not my favorite and then we were brought some very delicious bread. I had a gyro which was very tasty and HUGE! It was definitely the biggest gyro I have ever seen - I easily got 2 big meals out of it. My girlfriend had the kabobs which were ok - the chicken was pretty dry and just all around "meh".
by Osvaldo Ill on I go here a lot for lunch. It is not the most fancy place look wise. But I love the food. Everyone I take say the same. They have the best blackened chicken salad. Best salad I have ever had... And that is coming from someone that only eats salad. I have been there night time when there has been jazz nights which was nice. I didn't have to pay cover since I eat dinner there. I have been there 3 nights. I never had a problem in the area, I know there has been on the news a couple of years ago someone got shot there. But over all the staff is nice and the food cheap and great!!!!
by Reuben Espinel on Bimbo's is a great venue. Classic decor, seating, table service, and a top notch sound system. Bimbo's is small compared to other venues in the city, so you never have to worry about squeezing in. From what I've seen, they book a lot of great bands. My only complaint is the cocktails. While they are cheap compared to other places in the city, they are not very well made. They lack any subtlety, and are not made with very good ingredients. They will get you loaded, though. So I guess it's a mixed blessing. Just saw Spiritualized here. Excellent. I will be back.
