by Pam S. on This is definitely a must go place in San Francisco. It's on the 21st floor of the elegant Sir Francis Drake hotel. The cover charge the night we went was only $10. That was Saturday. I had a cosmo and it was really good. I like a lot! The dance floor was packed and crowded, goes very well with my taste. And they played music that can really get anybody to shake their booties :). Very nice party place indeed. And who wouldn't love the view. I love the city of San Francisco at night. And to see it from a lovely place, really sets the mood. I heard they offer brunch and dinner here. I am excited to come back and dine here.
by Christina A. on Okay, upon reading others' reviews I will agree to this place being filled with yuppies (but I'm an Emory grad so when am I not surrounded by them?), and the drinks are overpriced. However, East Andrews is pretty much never a let-down. There are attractive, young people everywhere...and tall. I am one tall chick, so it's appreciated. It is really large for a bar, and has two different outdoor areas. I like the one with an open air ceiling and a fountain in the middle. How have I never seen someone climb in? I KNOW they're drunk enough... There are lots of different bar areas, so the wait for a drink is very manageable. Almost never a line to get in. Hardly any smokers. You'll meet a couple new people. And no cover! Okay, what irks me: why are you dudes in suits? I KNOW your very important meeting did not get out at midnight. Relax a little. This place is the best Buckhead nightlife has to offer. (The other bars nearby are basically the same people but in incredibly cramped quarters. I get flashbacks to Mardi Gras. Not so much.)
