by Mica Bowline on Lemme start by saying this place sucks. If I could give it ZERO stars I would. Anyway, once you get on the right track, you can really enjoy my story. So some girlfriends invited me out here, and I really just wanted to hang with them. So I'm thinking, ok, list, free door, let's go. So we arrive, and the bouncers proceeded to frisk my friends, and throw away their aspirin. Then they didn't have our name on the list. What list? Heh, you just gotta know the name of some promoter and then you're in. Ok, duh, I'll play this game. We meet my friends inside, and are assaulted by Z100 hits, and tons of B&T. omg... how long can I take it? The venue is gaudy, and overdone. Glowing crap everywhere... Ok, now having been in nyc I'm eyeing the empty bar thinking, there's something wrong with this picture. Well, I want a drink, what they hell I'll pony up for one rediculously priced drink. Now mind you the club is just filling up, but there are only a couple of people at the bar. This is not a good sign. I hail the bartender, who is very quick off the draw. Vodka tonic. Ok, now seeing how smooth they are, I'm already worried. So I focus an eagle eye on the guy pouring. He pours so damn quick, I'm like no way. He brings over my drink seconds later. That'll be $14. Ummm... can you pour some vodka in there? That looked like a short shot. He seems totally irritated with me, goes back, and pours something. He turned so I couldn't see him. Who knows if it's a bottle of water, or watered down vodka. I taste it, and it's like a half-shot drink. Ok, so I just got screwed hard. Ok, that's why no one is at this bar. $28 drinks? huh? Gimme a break, this place sucks. A real club would have hot DJs, fast drinks, sexy people, and style. This place has none of those things. ho hum, I knew what I was getting into. Anyway, I had fun seeing my friends...
