by Alvaro Mackechnie on This restaurant has a serious case of multiple personality disorder. I know the restaurant is named "asia" but really? C'mon. Dim sum has no business being served next to sushi at 9pm at night. The prices are high, the food is not authentic, and the decorations are confusing. There is bruce lee wall paper, giant indian goddess statues, and kanji written in random places. If you want some real Asian food, please save yourself the time and money and go somewhere else.
by Marty Pean on meh. this place was fun because i was with my favorite people (J.S.!), but for a $20 cover, i would opt for Blvd 3. for some reason, people in this club are SUPER TALL. granted i'm only 4'10", but wow, i felt so midget and lilliputian in there. there were some pretty good lookin' people though. and the outdoor smoking patio is huge but crowded. my gripes are: like what Janson L. said, the shots of premium vodka/patron tasted BURNING. i thought it was just me that night, but i think something's up with their liquor. the dance floor is all segmented and there's too many steps up and down. i think i'll just avoid that whole corridor of hollywood clubs for a while. parking is so difficult - we barely found a spot in a $20 paid lot!!!
by Marcus D. on Anytime some pretentious dickbag names something "the greatest bar," you know it's doomed for failure! And how! Yeah, if you are from Billerica or Chelmsford, maybe - no, I don't even think THEY would find anything salvagable about this horror of horrors. And to think that the guy that owns the Place, that other paramount of Boston "nightlife," thought this little gem up. Case closed.
