by Elmira Burlette on My gf and I went a couple months back and had a real good time. We showed up around midnight, didnt pay for entrance, had bottle service so drinks were all good. Good lookin' crowd, met some chill people who I still talk to and party with. Club didn't close until 3:30am and I stayed til closing, dancing, drinking and just having a good time. The homie was having a show that night and we took over the stage for the rest of the night I would most def come back.....most def!
by Mario Heade on Yes, there's an STK in LA along Douchebag Row (aka La Cienega by Santa Monica Blvd), but I've never been. I chose to fly 3,000 miles to have my first experience at STK in New York. I didn't eat, but I did lounge on their comfy, sleek couches and I just happened to find myself downing a few cocktails, one of which was an awesome Strawberry Rhubarb Martini. If you know me, you would know that my second favorite dessert of all time is Strawberry Rhubarb Crisp. So you can only imagine my delight for the martini. The rim wasn't salted, it was graham crackered!! F*ck yeah!! It was a dessert and drink all in one--just what I like. Still waiting for someone to invent the Sticky Toffee Pudding Martini. The dildos on the wall did uber-creep me out (although come to think of it, maybe they were going for the elephant tusk look--well, that's kinda creepy too), but overall, the place was great. Not too pretentious a place and a nice diverse crowd. Seemed to be older, but I can never tell how old white people are (no offense!). It was really the people I was with that made my night, but the environment facilitated a lot. Maybe I'll try the food next time, and maybe I'll go to the one in LA. It's a tad bit closer.
by Mike S. on crazy pack! this place always gets packd but is always fun. the only thing that sucks is the staff. i've had a couple of altercations with them n i'm the type of person to never let shit bother me. but other than the staff its a cool place to party. music is good, drinks r strong and there r alot of people to mingle with. last time i went was when ed hardy was having a fashion show n that was pretty cool cuz the people that showd not b cuz of his clothes cuz i dont think highly of his designs.
