Wow! Reading the reviews prior to going....after going reading the reviews again!  It's pretty brutal.  I'm afraid to post up anything but my opinion matters as well so here goes... We were celebrating a good friend's birthday.  I was on the GL so walking in with friends and the birthday boy was easy as pie.  As I entered, I noticed a lot of similar things that fellow rateclubsers pointed out: -Trendy décor with booth seating for bottle service -Ratio was more guys than girls which aren't necessarily a bad thing for me.  Eye candy is a good thing. -The bar was super crowded with people waiting to buy their drinks.  Perhaps they need to have more than 2 bartenders. It looked like a stampede at a lemonade stand on a 100 degree day. My drink was good...everyone was tipsy/drunk by the end of the night. -The dance floor was small, (door was closed to the other side), and so dancing was pretty much rubbing your body up against people from all sides. But it looked like everyone was having fun and enjoyed the music the Dj played. Since it was two of my friend's birthdays, I had a really great time with them! I wasn't there to meet any guys.  I wasn't there with high expectations.  I was there dancing, laughing, drinking with the birthday boy/girl and just enjoyed myself on a Saturday night!  At one point I wasn't going to go out but glad I did because I also met some new friends. It's like one of those decisions you're glad you made because you would have missed out. It can be a hit or a miss at a venue. You might go once and it's a bust or a blast, and then goes back and it might be better or not.  Perhaps it's true when they say 3rd times the charm?  But I think if you're surrounded by great people and you're just enjoying the moment without holding up the wall, you would have fun regardless. Well anyways, I'm giving you 3-stars because there were no fights, people were cool, Dj's played good music and bouncers were nice. I can tell the birthday boy had a really great time.  Pictures show proof of his never-ending smiley face =D For others who gave this place a bad review, you probably went in with high expectations.  FYI- this isn't Sunset.

C*nt. *ss. B*tch. These were just a few of the names I was called for no apparent reason by THE STAFF who work the door outside as well as some of their disgusting, slovenly, underage, rude, self-entitled patrons while I waited in line. The male bouncer violently shoved girls who were too close to the rope for his liking. Many actually fell. I actually got injured while I stood there patiently waiting, mind my own business. There was no apology. As we were getting ID'ed finally, another bouncer gave my ID back to the wrong person. Uh, hello!? Then, as I tried to retrieve it, the bouncer shouted, "WHAT THE F*CK IS WRONG WITH YOU. MOVE!" and shoved me through the ropes. Once inside, I couldn't believe after all that hell, the club sucked. It was crowded way past capacity, the music sucked, it was dirty, and it was full of underage kids - teenagers. The main floor was so crowded I lost my whole drink. The guys here, much like the male staff, were really disrespectful and unpleasant. The decor was....WTF. Wanna know why it's called "Greenhouse"? Because they stapled fake plastic ivy all over the walls. That's it. There ya go. Like a greenhouse. Get it? Wow.... This was one of those nights were you end up calling your ex or  a guy friend who is cute but "too nice" because you need a big bear hug and an ice pack.

Such a great NYC experience! The food is great! I love that you get your own food and your own beer and sit down. The problem starts when you're there right after work and the place is packed! They need to come up with a better seating system. Other than that, everyone must experience the Frying Pan before they close it for Fall/Winter!
